Player Observation Sessions – 2026/27 Season
Woking Cougars FC is now inviting players to register for our Observation Period sessions ahead of the 2026/27 season.
These sessions will take place during normal team training from:
📅 Week commencing 20th April to 18th May
The observation period is an important part of how we plan for next season and ensure players are supported in the most appropriate environment for their development.

Our observation sessions are designed to give players the opportunity to experience the club environment while allowing coaches to assess players over a period of time.
• This is not a one-session trial
• Players are observed across multiple sessions
• The focus is on the whole player — not just ability
• No decisions are made until the end of the observation period
Our Approach
At Woking Cougars, we are a development-focused club. Our aim is to place players in environments where they can:
• build confidence
• enjoy their football
• develop at the right level
Movement between teams is a normal part of development and may be both up and down depending on what best supports each player at that stage.
Where places are limited, existing Woking Cougars players are prioritised.
Session Information
• Sessions take place within existing team training
• Training days and times vary by age group
• Full details will be provided once you register
