Membership & Registration

Membership includes – all training fees, training provided by FA-qualified and vetted coaches, occasional professional coaching support from outside organisations, first-class all-weather training facilities and pitches. 

Please note, membership does not guarantee selection for match day squads.  Squad selection is at the discretion of the age group manager and coaches.  For younger age-groups up to and including U11’s, we promote an equal playing time philosophy to build that team spirit and togetherness.  

The Membership year runs from 1^st July – 30^th June and fees are payable by all members (squad and training-only members) via SportMember.  

The Annual membership Fee for the 2023/24 Season is £150.00 paid in two instalments of £75.00 in July and January.  

Any member joining the Club after 1^st April will be charged a reduced fee of £37.50 for the remainder of the membership year.

Please note that personal information of your child will be passed to the local league in which your child’s team will participate in, as part of the player registration process.  

All players must be registered individually with the FA and applicable League to be able to participate in league and cup matches during the course of the season.  Players that have not been registered cannot play.

Woking Cougars Kit

Woking Cougars F.C is an official Nike Partner Club and match kit is required for all players from Under 7 upwards.  

Kit can be purchased directly via the Club Shop – and following receipt of your child’s squad number (which will be allocated by the club).  

The allocated squad number will need to be added to the order to personalise your child’s match kit in accordance with league rules.  

U12 Teams and upwards require both home and away kits in accordance with League rules.  Away tops for U7 – U11 is at the discretion of each team/coach, subject to agreement from parents.  

Match kit is usually renewed every two years.

There is a range of other items available in the Club Shop including training and leisurewear. 

Matches and Fees

If your child’s team is registered with a league (Surrey Youth League, Surrey Primary League or South Surrey Youth League), their matches will be played on Sundays. 

Kick-off times are allocated based on pitch availability by the home team but are generally between 10am and 2pm.  

Our home matches are played at various locations around Woking, including in West End, Brookwood, Woking Town and Knaphill (please see the Venues section for more details).

You should be advised of match details by your manager early in the week before your match.

Match fees (£4.00 per player per match) are collected by your child’s team Parent Rep. These fees are used by the club to pay for use of the pitches and to pay for qualified referees where required. Fees are due for all matches, including all league, cup (excluding cup finals at neutral venues), and friendlies.
